Next Tuesday, August 18, 2020, the second session of the I2Latam-MIMIR Andino Dialogues will be held: “Trends and good practices in the management of research and innovation in Europe and Latin America”. In this dialogue, which will take place at 9:00 a.m. COT., Will talk about regional and national policies for the promotion of the STI.
This meeting will be moderated by Óscar Gualdrón, Consultant and Researcher. In the first part, the intervention will be in charge of Juan Carlos Del Bello, Rector of the National University of Rio Negro (Argentina), who will talk to us about the Latin American Policies for the Promotion of R&D.
Later, Nancy Verónica Pérez, Coordinator of Technological Studies and Strategic Intelligence and head of the National Program for Technological Surveillance and Intelligence (VINTEC), of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (Argentina), will talk to us about technological surveillance and strategic intelligence ( VT – IE) as an engine for strengthening the management of skills for linking and transferring knowledge in the university of Latin America.
Two monthly sessions will be held from August to November 2020, virtually, in which, through a presentation and panel for one hour, the initiatives of the partner institutions of both projects will be presented. Let us remember that this cycle of dialogues is carried out thanks to an alliance between the projects I2Latam (Strengthening Research and Innovation in Young Universities for Regional Development in Latin America) and Mimir Andino (Modernization of the Institutional Management of Research and Innovation in the Andean Region and Latin America), of Erasmus + co-financed by the European Union and coordinated by the University of La Sabana and the Colombian Association of Universities (ASCUN), respectively.
