The MIMIR Andino project is an Erasmus + project for capacity development in the field of higher education, co-funded by the European Commission.

Capacity building projects in the field of higher education are transnational cooperation projects, based on multilateral partnership agreements, mainly between higher education institutions of program countries and eligible partner countries.

The purpose of these projects is to support the eligible partner countries to:

Modernise, internationalize and facilitate access to higher education.

Converge voluntarily with the development of the EU in higher education.

Address the challenges faced by higher education institutions and systems.

Promote contacts between people, intercultural awareness and understanding.

Increase cooperation with the EU.
